Jennifer Sparks

Over nearly thirty years with the FBI, Ms. Sparks built a career at the intersection of investigation and behavioral science. She served as a Special Agent, rose to Supervisory Special Agent Profiler, and coordinated the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force, focusing throughout on violent crime, crimes against children, and the behavioral analysis that helps investigators understand how and why offenders act.

As a certified profiler, Ms. Sparks worked in an area of federal law enforcement that depends on reading evidence for behavior, assessing the credibility of witnesses and statements, and drawing sound conclusions from incomplete information. Applied to some of the most difficult cases the Bureau handles, that discipline calls for both analytical rigor and careful judgment about human behavior.

Now retired from the Bureau, Ms. Sparks provides strategic consulting to the firm on federal criminal defense, human trafficking investigations, witness credibility assessment, and behavioral analysis. Her background gives the firm’s trial teams an experienced read on how investigations are built, how witnesses and statements should be evaluated, and where a behavioral theory may not hold up.
